Lean Factory Tour Inspires Business Transformations – & Delivers Over €50,000 to Irish Men’s Shed Association

Minister James Browne marks the occasion as Adman Steel Sheds presents €50,350 to the Irish Men’s Shed Association, raised through its Lean Factory Tours.

May 2026 — Hundreds of companies from across Ireland, the UK, America and Australia have travelled to a working factory floor in Wexford for one reason: to see Lean manufacturing done simply, practically, and in the real world.

The “Lean at Adman Factory Tours” cut through the textbook complexity that puts so many businesses off Lean. Visitors walk a live operation from office to production line and leave with practical ideas they can action right away.

Raising over €175,000 for community causes to date, including the latest €50,350 contribution to the Irish Men’s Shed Association – and well on track toward the long-term goal of giving €1 million back to communities.

The Irish Men’s Shed Association supports a network of over 450 Men’s Shed groups across Ireland, providing welcoming spaces where men can connect, share skills and spend time together. These spaces play an important role in supporting mental health and tackling social isolation.

Enda Egan of the Irish Men’s Shed Association added: “The support from Adman Steel Sheds makes a real difference to what we do. It helps us reach more men and create spaces where people can connect and feel part of something, while also keeping Men’s Sheds open and active in the communities that rely on them.”

Paul Nolan, Managing Director of Adman Steel Sheds, understands the value of teams, community and being part of something bigger.
