Design Engineer – Job Description 

Adman is undergoing a period of significant growth and are looking to expand our product innovation team.

We are currently seeking an exceptional person for the position of Design Engineer located at our premises in Gorey.

What will you be doing?

This is a varied role where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on the:

• Design and re-design of new and existing products across the Adman Steel Sheds range of garden buildings and optional extras.
• New product design
• Design of associated production tooling, Jigs & fixtures, material handling and storage solutions.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director.

What are we looking for?

You will be well a genuine team player with the ability to be focussed on project delivery, while understanding the dynamics of a working factory and it’s stakeholders.

This is a key role within the company and the successful candidate will have a track record of being solutions orientated.  You should be able to research new product ideas and methods and improve existing processes.

As Adman Steel Sheds is a Lean company, a background / understanding of Lean principals would be advantageous along with having very good understanding of manufacturing processes.

A Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field is required.

Salary & Benefits

This role has a basic salary of €40,000 – €50,000 DOE, staff pension as well as a staff discount on Adman Products.  Immediate start available.

Production Operative – Job description

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operatives – the successful candidate will be based at our production plant and will:

• Work as part of a production team to fulfil production targets.
• Keep good housekeeping standards in all areas.
• Follow work instructions in all areas.
• Ensure quality guidelines are followed for all areas.
• Your role will see you tackle a wide range of challenges in a busy production environment.

The ideal Candidate will have or demonstrate:

• An ability to work to deadlines.
• An ability to work on own initiative.
• Interested in future development & progression.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

This is a Full-time permanent role.

Salary: €26,500.00 – €31,000.00 per year

• Schedule – 8 hour shift
• Supplemental pay types – Yearly bonus
• Ability to commute/relocate – Ballycanew Road, Gorey, Co. Wexford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Join our Installation Team – Job Description 

Our Installation Team fit our products across the Island of Ireland. You will work as part of an experienced Team and receive full training with excellent opportunities for Progression. This role will see you tackle a wide range of challenges in a busy environment.

As part of this role you will:

• Follow all Installation Processes and Procedures
• Ensure all aspects of installations are carried out to an exceptionally high standard
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and carry out all tasks and functions in a safe manner
• Maintain our Customer Service Standards

The successful candidate must:

• have experience in a steel / metal fabrication role (desirable but not essential)
• have an ability to work on own initiative.
• have full C licence and BE licence (desirable but not essential)
• have forklift licence.
• safe pass and manual handling
• be interested in future development & progression

This is a Full-time (Monday – Friday) permanent role
Salary: from €28,000-€36,000 per year
Holidays: 20 days

Experience:
• Similar role: 2 years (desirable)
Licence:
• Full Clean B driving licence (Required)
